I am really excited to hear that google is coming with the new google chrome OS which will be running on the top of a Linux Kernel . Its completely opensource . The news about it was published in the googles official blog  2009 will be rocking with google wave and 2010 with google chrome OS .

Google will be coming with the new application wave in this year . Its a collobration of social networks with email etc .

Zimbra is an opensource desktop application software . Its for GNU/Linux and Mac OS from Yahoo . Zimbra is another Yahoo company one like the delicious book mark management . I was using Mozilla Thunder bird , but when I saw Zimbra with much more features than that , I thought of trying it .

These are the steps that are needed to make a database connection to run queries inside the aptana IDE .

Click the Database Perspective . Right click and add Database . Enter a name to recogise easy for you .  ( Picture below shows it )

Aptana is an opensource PHP Development IDE . I thought of learning an IDE for development . Habeeb one of my collegue have helped to learn more about Aptana . My system was a 64 bit Intel Core 2 Duo Processor .

I was using GNU/Linux for some 3-4 years now . The one of the browser which comes with every distribution of GNU/Linux is Firefox . Its a wonderful opensource browser available for every Operating Systems . The firefox has a collection of Addons, which makes it much powerful than any other browser .

Google has introduced a new service . The service is called google voice. This service is available for free now . Don't know what will be in the future . This service is  available only for those who get invites .  The small video demonstrates how it works .

All of you may have heard about the google calendars . Its a free service by google. You just need a gmail id .

But I was looking like a one that's freely available. Now adays I got  a chance to work with the javascript frameworks like jquery and prototype. Working on it, I was impressed . Its really cool guys, if you know little javascript then , you can look into it . Yes once you used , you will never go without using one of it . :) .

I have updated my Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 in the previous month . After the update I was facing a problem when playing videos . When we plays a video the user is being logged out . It was a strange one . I looked the forum , yes many have reported the bug. As I will not be using mainly to view video I thought of not considering the issue much .
